The Dorothea von Stetten Art Award, whose concept was revised in 2014, will take place for the 17th time this summer and will focus on the young art scene of the Netherlands. Seven Dutch art experts nominated seven artists who presented their work to a jury consisting of Adela Babanova (participant in the Dorothea von Stetten Art Award 2014), Michelle Cotton (Director, Bonner Kunstverein), Günter Friedrichs (Collector, Bonn), Marcus Lütkemeyer (Curator, Kunsthalle Münster and Schloss Ringenberg) and Timotheus Vermeulen (Professor for Cultural Studies, University of Nijmegen).

The winner of the award endowed with € 10,000 will be announced on the evening of the exhibition opening. We’re very much looking forward to hosting this exhibition which will also be accompanied by a catalogue.
