For six weeks, the Bonn-based, locally, regionally and internationally active fringe ensemble will occupy and perform in Collection Room 16 on the upper floor of the Kunstmuseum. This project was inspired by the book ‘Gardens of Resistance’ by French landscape architect and philosopher Gilles Clément. For Clément, the garden is a political place, a place of migration, of diversity, always in motion and never finished. In co-operation with the Kunstmuseum, the fringe ensemble is transferring this concept to the museum space. New works of art from the museum collection are installed week after week. The performers and their guests – authors, artists, musicians and museum visitors – enter into a lively relationship with the art.
‘He who creates a garden creates his ideal image of the world.’ (Gilles Clément)
